Great place to get away from it all. Love this area. Staff is fantastic. Rooms are very clean.

My family have stayed here a few times while in town to visit family. The staff are amazing and have always been so nice and polite to us. My family that lives in Olive Hill always recommend everyone to stay here. The view is amazing. The rooms were clean. Will definitely be staying here again when we come to visit.

You couldn't find better hosts. About as friendly as you could get. The room was large and comfortable. A lovely country inn. close to Daniel Boone NF. A very nice place to stay.

This was a great place to stay on our way to Louisville. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great room on the first floor that had everything we needed, including a very comfortable extra large bed. The veranda outside the room even had rocking chairs to sit in and admire the view. If you are in the area, then this is the place to stay. There is even a small supermarket 'Save a lot' literally a 2 minute walk from the lodge.

A hidden gem in the Appalachian hills of Sandy Hook, KY. Family owned, small 14 room lodge with friendly owner and staff. Tucked at the base of a forest, just off Route 7. Persons using this are kayakers, fishermen, workers, hunters, persons visiting the nearby prison, and persons visiting the Elliott Nursing Home. Highly recommend reservations as far ahead as you know your plans as they stay booked up! You can call in or make reservations online. Five stars for country living expectations as everything here is all you need and for the convenience to the locations of the lakes, forest, prison, and nursing home. Seven rooms upstairs and seven downstairs. No elevator. The second floor has a great porch with rocking chairs and tables for smoking, using your laptops, or having snacks outside. The rooms are strictly non smoking- you can smoke outside. They serve coffee and some cereal and pastries to start your day if you partake. I’m a repeat customer, as many of their customers are, here visiting family in the nursing home and the nearby county. Appreciative of this business and the location!

You wont find a better family run hotel around. This place has been my go to for years. The rooms are always great and the staff is even better. Come find out for yourself.

There's really nothing bad to say about the Little Sandy Lodge! We stayed here while visit family. We had two rooms, one for us and one for our teen boys. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Being here is comfortable and cozy!

The nicest place around to stay in! We've been staying at various hotels in West Liberty and Morehead for the last 4 years and this lodge is the best of them all in my opinion! The personnel is very helpful and kind, the place is clean and pleasant. Me and my family feel very good here and planning to stay here again during our next visit.
